I'm still in a little bit of shock that I'm really gonna be 21 in just 2 days...it feels weired and exciting in the same time...but very excited the only down side (yes, I said downside) is I have a Geology 131 test...ouch I'm gonna be stuck in the library...but I do have plans to out to this nice Italian place, with my roomies....CAN'T wait!!!
SFA has been spared major tragedy. The multiple agencies that are working on the case, are still here working on finding the culprit. I'm thankful that the students at SFA did not have to go though the experience that Virgina Tech went though two years ago yesterday.
nothing has happened thus far, PRAISE THE LORD! But we are all still keeping are "ears and eyes" open.....please keep praying for the calm day to continue.
this morning i woke to some very scary news....UPD (university police department) had sent out an email saying that there were signs posted on and off campus that there was going to be a shooting today, and 10 people were gonna die.......please pray that these are empty threats and nothing will happen today or in the future....so far UPD and the FBI and other local police departments are looking into this. I'll update you future if things change.
I know Easter was yesterday but, better late than never is my motto. Easter was wonderful, church was extra crowed, lunch was delicious, and Granny came over. So Easter at my house was pretty uneventful in a sense, which is they way I like my college breaks. The weather in the Rosenberg/Houston area was sorta bad, but it turned in to a beautiful day, so God does work in mysterious ways. Hope everyone had a blessed Easter holiday, and a few days to relax....but tomorrow is a new day....and the means back to the "grind".
I got this in my Inbox today and I felt it was appropriate with Easter only being days away....
